Our History

Don Parrish and Pat Hare started Parrish-Hare in 1983 with one downtown Dallas location. After its initial success, Parrish-Hare opened a second location in Fort Worth in 1988. In 1995, Parrish-Hare moved its Dallas operations to its current location on Regal Row. Parrish-Hare also has locations in Ennis and Midlothian, Texas.

Parrish-Hare is an active member of the IMARK Group, a member-owned marketing group made up of more than 185 independent electrical distributors throughout the United States. Due to its widespread membership base, IMARK members are able to network national accounts and integrated supply issues. As a member of IMARK, Parrish-Hare is also able to provide sales and support throughout North America due to IMARK’S alliance with IED, Canada's largest network of independent electrical distributors.

Parrish-Hare’s business is supported by the Trade Service Software Package (Array), the largest software provider to the electrical industry. We are using an Electronic Data Interchange to enter and follow orders with many manufacturers, including Hubbell, Thomas   Betts, 3M, and SQD, are receiving orders through the EDI from some Industrial accounts.
